My wife went through a bad one. She was really good friends with someone, but the person freaked out. She was very manipulative and used the "suicide threat" as a way of controlling the relationship. My wife took the threats seriously for a long time, for obvious reasons. Suicide is a serious thing. She did not want her friend to die. It eventually became obvious that the whole thing was a sham, though, and my wife broke it off cold turkey. The "friend" ended up calling her a bunch of names and kept trying to email and interfere with her life, but my wife ignored her until she went away. They are only now on speaking terms again, some five years later, but they will never be friends again.
I had a bit of a "friend break-up" myself, but it proved to be temporary. A good friend of mine and I moved in with one another during college. Bad mistake. We were both too immature for the situation to work, we had a huge fight, and basically weren't friends anymore for the rest of the year. The big fight was over something really stupid, too, but it wasn't really about the fight. It was about our different maturity levels and insecurities. It was very tense living in the same space during that time! Once the year was over and we both moved out, we eventually became friends again. We just needed some time and space. Later we talked about it and worked out our differences in a less stressful environment. We've been friends for over a decade since.

yes twice. the first time was my best friend from middle school/high school. i started making more friends and hanging out with other people (we didn't have the same schedule so i never go to see her anyway.) apparently this made her extremely jealous. and she started to argue with me all the time and throw things at me. so i just stopped talking to her. way too clingy.
another time was a friend also from when i was in high school. we got along great but then he went through this bad breakup and ever since then he has been pompous, passive aggressive, and just a downright jerk. whatever comment he could think of to put me and others down he would say unapologetically. i say i wanted to go to college and he would tell me im not good enough ect ect (ive always been an A student). perhaps he was just jealous i dont know. all i know is that i didnt need the company of a person like that. he made himself feel superior by putting others down by any means necessary. no thanks.

yes i have gone through a friend break up. we both started getting on eachothers nerves and we just kept getting ino fights until we both decided to just go our own seperate ways. its really hard to get through at first and it will probably (at the time) be the most devastating thing in the world. but all you need to do is do things that make you happy and hang around with the people that love you the most. and then in no time youll be feeling better and happier! =]

Yes, I've been best friends with my kids Godmother for the past 13yrs and we are no longer friends, just because I wouldn't take the kids to school in the morning while she stayed home and would pick them up after school. Okay fine but I started working and I had to leave a lot earlier then before and I couldn't take them plus I had my two also but mine go to my mothers house until it's time to go to school and that's the 10yr old and the other one stays home with grandma because his only a year old.
Plus she went behind my back and said thing about to my son father, and I have never spoken Bad out her and here she went and did this to me so I no longer speak to her I only speak to the kids who are my god kids.

2x one time some friends told me that if i hung out with this other friend when he was with me they would not talk to me so i told them to have a nice life .
the other one was with 2 real close friends i mean best friends they a started drinking way more often then i do or think is safe and 2 both of them stated using cocaine so that was that .
it happens sure and it can go both ways and it can be for
good reason or stupid ones i prefer to only let this happen without a fight if its for good reasons . i don't mean a fist fight. i mean a fight to stop it.

Well,
I used to be friends with this girl (very good friends) for a year then we moved in together and everything went down the drain.. You know people for real when you live with them.. specially when you have values/principles that differ and different ideals...

Yes, everyone has. mine was that my friend keep trying to talk to all my boyfriends and she was fake. She would try to talk to my boyfrends but then try to dog them infront of all my other friends. She wasnt right in the head! lol it hurt at first because we had been friends for a long time but people like that you shouldnt be around. Misery loves company and you dont wanna be around someone who wants to bring you down
