Fun is more of an attitude than it is anything else! You can have fun doing anything at all. All life experiences have something for us to learn from. Learning is FUN! I'm being simplistic, not to be sarcastic, but to illustrate how much we underestimate the value of fun. Be proactive in pursuing the things that make you feel good without having to sacrifice your freedoms. Don't be afraid to enjoy the most insignificant of acts to the most sophisticated. Be natural and true to yourself and everything else will follow!

I still dont know what to do either. I just figured I will never get married. so were in the same boat. I go to the local bar now and then but it's just now fun with out your close friends. wow this made me feel bad how sad am I

I'd suggest finding some new hobbies or interests. Maybe kayaking, skiing, biking or something more sedate like knitting, writing, or volunteering. At 35 you're not even halfway there so you have a lot more fun to have!

Make friends that are close by!! Go to local sports games, take adult classes for arts or dancing, etc. Go to a park to try and meet people. Or you could always try the bar, depends on how much you like partying. Good luck and NO you are not selfish at all!! Party on and meet lots of single girls for lots of girls night outs!!!

There are plenty of people who are over 35 and single to have fun with. You just have to go out and find them.

go out and find a nice young man to show you what it was like to be young again.........there are alot of younger men looking for older women. Remember, your only 35. you still have the rest of your life ahead of you.... they lied when they said you cant teach a old dog new tricks. they'd just rather invest in a dog that already has what they need programed in...........
society has band teaching ... now we will be bread into a world were the first 12 years of school will be programed in at birth..our first words will be about stocks and market sales...........kinda crazy.....!

At 35 you are at the beginning of your rainbow ... life is about having fun whether you are single, married, a parent, divorced, a grandparent? What ever you are.. who ever you are... keep that child inside of you happy........... always let your life lead you to the fun side... it is great over here..

baby girl, there are tons of things that you can do when you're 35 single. you don't realize that your friends who are now married; they're all envious of you and the freedom that you have. pick up a hobby. like scuba diving, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, etc. once you do that you'll feel better about yourself with the sense of accomplishment. and all your married friends would be in awe of the things that you can do and they can't.

Go do the stuff you've always wanted to do. heck, if you're single, you are probably able to save up a lot more than people in relationships or married. So go take that exotic vacation or go bungee jumping or whatever floats your boat.
