Historically muslim women were never required to wear Burkhas. Wearing Burkhas is relatively new man-made dogma, as is self-evident because their pious muslim mothers and grandmothers can be seen in photographs not wearing them! All women, regardless of their religion, should not comply with new man-made dogma designed to subjugate women-- such as making education, driving, and property ownership illegal and/or a sin for women, but not men-- and making beating your wife legal and/or not a sin for men. Women should be free to go to school, drive, own property, and dress appropriately for the weather/temperature-- and not be beaten by their husbands. Free yourself muslim sisters! no. the muslim girls should wear somthing that their hair and neck and their body dont be shown but their face can be open and it must be open because in the past of arab some men were wearing burkha and they were going to girls party and no one could know that they are men. if girls don't show their body to men they will be in safe more than now

i'm not American, yet British and there is no way you may get me in a suffocating outfit like the Burkha. Plus i like to work out the place i'm going and hate tripping on long skirts, they are too impracticle for cycling in. Black is a hideously boring shade too. in case you made me positioned on one, it may be with stripes/spots and multicoloured, to particular my individualism.

Burka is nothing to do with Islam. It is a tradition and started from the time of Eve & Adam. All faith and community had adopted it in various form. Now it is branded to the Muslims. This is my personal views nothing to do with any religion.

This should be a matter of choice for the girl. She should do what SHE feels is right for her and not be pressured in to anything.

No one should be forced to wear something against their will. We are human beings, with our own minds and free will.
