Steps of Rome Cafe, with it's lively Italian waitstaff. Unfortunately, it's cash only. It was THE place to watch matches during the world cup, people were standing in the street outside to watch the big screens.

Cafe Macaroni on Columbus at Jackson. The smaller original location on the west side of Columbus rather than the newer larger Macaroni suicie suicie on the east side.
Great food, fun waiters and a cozy.

Pacfic Catch has incredibly fresh seafood, theres Ahi Poke bowls that include tuna mixed with wasabi, fresh seaweed and rice. Or if thats too hot they have fish and chips, but the chips are these incredibly delicious yam fries.
theres also House, which is an Asian fusion place with really good noddles and flat iron steak, but I think thats a bit more south.
