How about a turbin on his head, his left leg nickers such as a jocky or even the boots of a jocky, Nursing shoes, or cowboy boots, perhaps a carpenters belt, a Dr. mask, A spear or bow and arrow for the hunters of tribes, how about a briefcase for a professional, or even ER pants, how about gloves for a chemist, a pencil behind the ear, goggles for a welder, a paint brush or painted pants/overals such as a painter or farmer. How about a leather apron for a furier?
Hope these help

Do huge clown trousers for 'Clown'
And ballet shoes for 'ballet dancer'
Your other ideas seem fine.

You could use fisherman's waders and that would cover the legs and shoe area in one.
