Make sure you're eating well, and that you're drinking plenty of water.
I wasn't dizzy, but right before my baby was born I also felt unfocused, flustered, and "not OK." I did a lot of pacing around and felt generally dissatisfied and weird. For me, it started over a weekend, and my baby was born by Monday night. Good luck!

Doc will check your blood pressure and your urine...sometimes dizziness, can be a sign of pregnancy induced hypertenion...alomg with elevated blood pressure and protein in the urine. The only true cure is to to deliver..which would be okay because you are full term. Let your doc know how you have been feeling...but you should be just fine.
It happened to me about 2 weeks ago...I was 38 weeks along and had elevated blood pressure, dizziness etc. I was sent for some testing, put on bed rest for a week, and my labor was induced last Thursday at 39 weeks, Baby is GREAT, I am GREAT, and I have never felt better!
Good luck and Congrats!

I am almost 40 weeks, and yes, I have been through the dizzy spells. I am not really sure what causes them. Sometimes, I just have to stop what I am doing, and sit down for awhile. My b/p and b/s have been really good, so it's not that (for me.) I am not sure if dizzy spells are a sign of labor or not...I have never heard of it being one, but every body is different. I know your ready...as so am i...good luck.

Often if you're moving too quickly, such as standing up too fast or bending down, then getting up too fast can cause you to feel dizzy. Slow down and take your time. I don't think you have hypertension or pre-eclampsia, because dizziness usually means that you're blood pressure is too low, not too high.
Good luck... I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have experienced some dizziness from time to time. When I slow down and take my time, I don't experience it.

It could be that your baby is pushing on a large vein that runs through the dorsal side of your body. That used to happen to me when I would lay on my back.
