This sometimes happens with aging floppy disks accessed on different PCs.

To be safe & not damage the data, I would try it on another PC & copy it onto a USB flash drive OR onto another floppy disk freshly fornatted using your PC..

.... I know it's a pain, however, if you want the data badly enough it may be your only option.
