Live in the uk, want to move to the south of France, first time buyers. Has anyone been in a similar situation and/or got any advice?

what would like to know? i spent 13 years there and for the most part it was good. i would advice you to stay away from the English if i were you and mix with the french as much as possible . if you are having work done ALWAYS ask around. believe me the so called English builder will be there telling you he'll do the cheapest and best. if a builder tells you he can start straight away forget him as he cant be that good if he is not busy. employing people on the black not good either e-mail me if you want more advice paconet19@yahoo.com mark
