I think that all children should grow up to accept diversity and accept gay and lesbian people, but what about being taught that gay and lesbian is ok in our society.

The most important value I think all children need to accept is diversity and rather who they do decide to love is their personal choice, but that the most important thing is that they can accept who they really are with out being pushed or confused.

No. They should think its a disease and kill themselves at 13 so YOU won't be offended by them.

You should look in the mirror and realize that YOU are not normal, moral, or humane. There is nothing wrong with being GAY!!!!!! Whats the big deal. Two men humping...so what. two women..so what. I hump all the time and I have no intention of breeding so maybe I'm a big a.ss sinner too....SO WHAT!!!!!

Do you know an Iranian girl is going to hang for killing a man who tried to rape her and her niece...No. You want to go into some stranger bedroom and stop them from having consensual sex because that's whats wrong...LOVE!!!

Pull your head out of your intestinal tract!!!!

Yes it is normal and I think it would be more confusing for a child to be taught it is bad to be gay then go to school and find out the majority of people don't agree with their views. Being gay is a part of life and you certainly would not teach your child to dislike someone due to the color of their skin so why would it matter who they chose to love?

First of all, many people say that homosexuality is wrong, but how can it possibly be wrong? People say gays CHOOSE this but they in fact, do not. Why would somebody choose to be gay when they live in a society where being gay=wrong/dirty/disgusting? Gays LOVE somebody too, and how could love be a sin? We should worry about the much more important 'sins' such as murder, rape, theft etc.
Thinking about 'wrong love' (wtf?) is simply not a well spent area of our time.
The Bible says that homosexuality is wrong, but this is a perfect example where Religion can get in the way of logic, and common human rights. So yes, teach your kids to be open to different people, difference skin color, culture, sexual preferece etc etc.

Depends how you define normal - If it's a measure of how *common* something is, then obviously homosexuality is not normal, because it's far less common than heterosexuality. If you're using 'normal' as a value judgment, to mean morally neutral, then yes, they should be told that.

Yes, of course.
Homosexuality is inevitable and they mind as well learn to accept it instead of making many people's lives harder, including their own.

YES! All forms of diversity; racial; religious; sexual; gender; political and what ever else.

People confuse normality with morality.

children should be brought up to be kind, and polite to others, and then to make their own choices. Will i be reading same sex children books to my children? No. but i won't be teaching them hatred either. when they are adults, they will make their own decisions.

children should be brought up to understand that different people have different ways of living their lives, and there's nothing wrong with that.
