I just wanted to comment about an answer you put for someone elses cost to have a child question. I love being Canadian because of the free health care, but now I'm in the states with my boyfriend and I wanted to go to the doctor for a bladder infection and it was going to cost $145 just to see the doctor and then $70 for urine test and $70 for any other test needed....so I took some vitamins and hoped it'd go away. I hate the american ways.

now for your question.
You should be fine. I drove from London Ontario to Vancouver BC and it was only a few days, there's plenty of gas stops. You should be fine! Plus if you're traveling with a 3 year old you'll be stopping often enough anyway. I wasn't pregnant when I drove that but I have a very small bladder!
Have fun! You'll love the trip...Canada is soooooo beautiful!!

I travelled while I was pregnant and didn't have any problem. If you are really worried about it, let your OB/GYN know before you go so that they are aware and can be available if anything should happen while you are gone. By 4 or 5 months, you shouldn't have to go to the bathroom too often, so traveling should be fine. Just make sure you are able to still get enough rest and be comfortable during the trip.

It is safe to travel during pregnancy as long as there are not any complications and the doctor specifically tells you not too. Chances are it won't be a problem. So pack up and enjoy being pregnant. It can be a lot of fun!!
Have a great day and Good Luck!!

It's perfectly safe to travel while four or five months pregnant. You may need to stop and pee. But that doesn't make it unsafe to travel by car.

You may not get pregnant right away which is normal. So, You may be less that 4 or 5 months if you travel then anyway.

Good luck!

You will probably have to stop more ofter to use the restroom and such, but it's ok to travel up until like your last 4 weeks. You may find yourself stressed out, between your body and pregnancy and your 3 year old, but safe??? Yes, it's safe. Just make sure and wear your seat belt!!

You should be fine driving. Your bladder may be an issue, but if you're willing to take on a road trip with a 3 year-old, I'm sure there isn't much you can't handle.

You should be okay... you'll be stopping every two hours to pee though. I also had motion sickness while I was pregnant so I couldn't handle long car rides. Good Luck! Have Fun!

Yes, but my ob told me to stop and take breaks every two or three hours. Stretch and walk around for a few minutes.

Yes, if you make frequents stops to get out and stretch and move around. But don't assume you can get pregnant when you want to. Sometimes it's not that easy.

It should be fine, but ask your doctor to make sure. Also take a route that has lots of rest areas.
