why do people wear real fur if they are killing animals?

im doing a project, and i need 2 know facts on that stuff.

Okay... i don't wear fur but heres a reason:

1. After the animals are killed, their carcasses is put to good use
e.g animal food and the fur needs to be put to good use.

Its like leather... the hide as to be put to good use?...
