I went to his concert in Minneapolis with my hubby in February 2005 and came home preggo (Loved him before that, obviously... we drove there from Canada... but it added a HUGE Yay to my feelings for this performer!!!)
Everyone knows the story so when my daughter was 3-months old I put her in my I love Josh Groban T-shirt from the concert and took some of the cutest photos ever. (Her Daddy has one on his desk at work.)
As for favorite song... I can't really pick one... I pretty much love them all!! To Where You Are... Per Te... Believe... Home to Stay... Oceano (he opened his concert with that one... the opening line was just his voice in the darkness then there were all these lights!! It always gives me a rush now!!) From the new album February Song and Awake make me cry. (I got the new CD the day it was released which was also the first day I took my daughter to daycare. She's now 13.5 months. It was a trial run with the daycare because I was returning to work a week later. So I dropped her off and went to BestBuy and got the CD so I'd have something to do for a bit. I drove around listening to the CD and by the time I got to the end I was listening to Awake while parked out front of the daycare. There I was, crying in the car because the message of being apart was so poignant at that moment.) Weeping gives me goosebumps (because of the message behind it) but there will ALWAYS be a special place in my heart for You're Still You...
Lots of times when I was pregnant and couldn't sleep (because the baby was of course moving all around at 3:00 a.m.) I'd listen to "You're Still You" ... (on repeat) there's a line in there that goes "you will always shine and I can feel your heart in mine" that used to make me cry thinking that her heart really WAS in me for this special short time.
