There is no time period for having feelings of any kind for another person. Feelings infactuated with someone is a normal thing that we all experieince in our life times. For some, it may last a shortperiod, but for others it may last longer. The time period would depend on the you as well as the person that you are infatuated with. If those feelings remain strong then they will last a while. The important thing to remember with infactuation is that it is not love, and while it may feel like it is at times, it needs to be distinguished from it.

Sure, it's possible. It doesn't have to be love in order for it to last a long time....but it does have to be love in order for the relationship to last through the bad times as well as the good.

Infatuation is often based on an obsession, or a passionate desire, or an unreasonable expectation, whatever the circumstances may be.

Sure it is. But I'll bet that the person who is infactuated is not in the type of relationship w/ the "subject" as they wish they were.
