Absolutely! If you are in the service of your country they have the right to know you aren't taking something illegal. I serve in the Army and I am required to take random drug test, why shouldn't they?

Yes. 99.9% of the time when any of us take a new job we have to get a drug test. We can be randomly checked for drugs at work. So what makes politicians special? Why not them as well.

For presidents they should use the hair drug test, this would get rid of one.
In the Army they would give us a health and welfare, that is piss test, and bring the dogs thru our rooms, and a breath test all around 3am in the morning

No, because their jobs don't require any real thinking. They just have to say what's written for them, and know how to push a green or red button every once in a while.
