I run my own business {Ad-boD.co.uk} and it is hard to find good C.V's free of charge. Alot of places who offer this and that free arent usually up to much, especially if your looking for individuals with particular skill sets applicable to the role.
alot of sites offer free Posting but you still have to pay to look at any C.V's that come through.
Advertising in the local papers cost quite abit, i wanted to advertise a position in nottingham and they wanted £95 for a small black and white advert for 2 days. {no thanks}
If you have a website, advertise the position on there.
If you want someone with local knowledge, then try your local free papers/ magazines, { much cheaper and cost effective}
If you have specilist agricultural magazines, find out how much they charge, as this is your specific target area.
Job centers are also fairly good, the response is usually a decent amount, but the calibre and specific skill set may be lacking.
But it is FREE and you can use their facilities such as interview room and app forms etc.

not being funny but why don't you put an ad in the paper or in a farming trade journal, or sales-focused magazine, like any other company? If you can afford to pay an ASM's salary money can't be that tight, surely?

why do you have to pay for looking at C.v's surely you would do that yourself. make a list of essential requirements and desirable ones and start by contacting your local job centre. Also advertise yourself in local and national newspapers.

Industry press.
Websites: www.jobsite.co.uk, www.totaljobs.com, www.monster.co.uk are all effective.
Use Job Centre Plus - your local job centre.

Paying to see CVs is not a good idea.

You know what? CV's are not all they're cracked up to be. Go on your own gut instinct.
