He can't be compared to Adolf Hitler because his social reforms were good and lasted several centuries after his death.

I think the best US president to compare him to is Franklin Roosevelt. They both introduced numerous social reforms for the good of their people and saw the country through wars. Ceasar was more ambitious than Roosevelt and actually led armies in the field, but that was expected in his time.

He saw the Roman Senate as an unnecessary roadblock in his way to reformations. By getting permanent power, he could sidestep most of the bureaucratic nonsense. Roosevelt could not and didn't want permanent power so he worked within the system with great effectiveness.

That's a leading question. You want everyone to think Bush. But in truth, you can compare any two people in the world. There doesn't have to be any similarities at all in a comparison. Comparing would reveal that.
