Only when you adequately and proactively learn everything there is to know about yourself, can you even begin to understand anyone else.

We are all of the same stuff... Infinite potentiality of mind and the physical manifestations that come as a result. Everything else is just a simple matter of choice and habit with very complex differences and conditions as results.

We all have a little Freud in us and just a little Hitler and just a little Shirley Temple and just a little next door neighbor or person in your life you hate and love... Heck even Michael jackson knows that... "Im starting with the man in the mirror."

i think about this ALL the time! I also think about "does anyone REALLY KNOW me?" I believe the majority of the time, you think you really know someone and then BAM something happens then your whole perspective of that person changes. I believe thats why alot of people feel all alone....even when they are surrounded by others. Its sad really. People just dont take the TIME anymore to really really get to know others. I can honestly say that there is only MAYBE 3 people who really know me and about a handful that i really know them. Theres so much more elaboration on this subject, but hey..this is yahoo answers :)

You CAN really know a person, but never completely. Its only possible with people that are willing to be completely open and candid. Such courage is rare, and usually requires a high degree of trust between the people involved, as well as a lot of time.

Truthfully I don't think that we ever really do people want to believe that they know someone but in all honesty we don't look at the many many examples were people are blown away by the actions of a loved one and they say were did this come from.

There was a triad tought by the druids in the time before the gauls were conquered by roman conquistadors. It went:

A person is three things:
1. who they think they are
2. who others think they are
3. who they really are

Don' tknow if that is an answer for you, but your question reminded me of this. It always made me think about who I really am and who others really are.

nope, you will really never know a person (at least in my opinion)

They may explain what they think and why they do the things they do, but unless you have up to the second access to their brain and know what they are thinking, then no, you never know a person.

Even if they were to catch you up. Once their explaination ended, they still develop and change.

Occasionally you may run into someone you may be able to really know, but I don't think its the way things usually are among people.

not really. you think you do and then they do something totally unlike them and it makes you wonder if the person you thought they were was a lie.
