first dust the spot with a generous amount of talcum powder. Leave it on for ten minutes and brush away. The powder will absorb the oil. Then launder as normal.

I like to use SHOUT brand spot remover for my spots. It has worked for 98% of my accidents! Oil is a tricky one. It may take 2 doses/washes with SHOUT with the washer on hot in order to get it out.

I saturate oil spots with Goo Gone, and launder as usual. It's easy, and I've had great success with it.
