Does Not Matter !!
If it works for you, that's all that is needed.
Plus, it will keep another electronic piece out of our landfill.
Extend it's life as long as you can.
However, to make sure it is working at it's best, visit the manufacturer's website, and download & install for your specific device the latest:
- Driver (software that allows computer & printer to talk to each other)
- BIOS (software -internal instructions to your specific printer to optimize it's features. [make sure you print, then follow the Bios installation instructions exactly]).
Download/installing the above will optimize/maximize your printer's functionality.

The all in one should be a printer too, so when you go to print the computer won't know which device to print from. Uninstall the old printer and you'll be good to go.

As long as it works and you have the latest drivers you should be good to go. I still have one from 7 years ago and still running fine.
