have you killed sephiroth in kingdom hearts 2 if so what level was you on and how do i kill him.

I manged to kill him using straagy, because usally brute force will get you no where. i was only lv 60 when i beat him. Basically he goes through three stages.
1. Sigh....
Seph thins you are kidding so takes it easy on you. his main attack will to be slash his sword about 5 times causing bad damage. When he walks slowly to you just hit square when he lunges to doge them. Slash him right after he's done. Any time the screen goes black target him and press triangle to deflect the special move or prepare to be knocked out. Get his health down to enter stage 2.
2. Ello,ello,ello!
Well, hes acknolaged you now! he will now introduce some new attacks. sometimes he will teleport behind you, flick you in the air and then slash you in the sky. If you see him tele, hit square to block! if not, when your in the air, use retaliating slash (press square) and slash him down! Also, the dreaded heartless angel... This will put health and mana down to 1, and garuntees a KO! If you see him rise to the sky, jump and slash before he finishes the sentence "descend, heartless angel" to stop it!
3. GOD @/*#}{! YOUR GOING DOWN!
Well, he's now offically ticked off, well done. He is faster, stronger, has all the attacks from before and some new ones.
. Fire sphere! He will litearlly create a cilinder of magnetised fire around him. run, jump, glide, anything to get away!
. Evil black balls of doom! Veryhard! you will be surronded by black spheres. either use reflega, or slash the balls INTO sephiroth!
.Fire meteors. Seph will rise up, target you, and send flaming fireballs at you. you just run around the battle area and dodge the balls.
Thats it! Make sure to counter his move, get a hit in when you can, and carry many High Potions and Ethers! I recommend levelling your valor and master and final(if you have it) to lv 3 to get their abilities(super jump, double jump and glide) passed on to sora. Upon beating him, go see cloud. then go see seph again and he fights cloud! Mazing cutscene! :) Anyway, after, yuffie gives you the fenrir Keyblade!(I personaly think the ultima keyblade is best) It took me 3 days to do, with many a frustrating death, so please, SAVE upon wining! I hope this helps, its nice to see a fellow Kingdom Hearts fan!
Tips n' Tricks!
1. Entering a limit when in the fire sphere stops any damage being taken! Slash away!
2. Have beserk charge on! When you use cure and have no mana, you get endless slashes with no finishing moves to stop you. And he wont have time to retaliate!
3. Have a keyblade equiped wich specializes in physical not magic, as you wont use ANY offensive magic this battle.
4. Dont get mad! This is the worst thing to do as it breaks your concetration! You are very likely to enter brute force and die like this!

Go on, show him whose boss! (who carries a sword that long anyway?)

I've never fight Sephiroth, but according to the official guide, you must be around level 80 or higher.

I KNOW THIS! you must be at at least level 70. You also have to equip that Mp/Beserk ability. when you go fight Sephiroth, be sure to use cure when health is low, it will take away all of you mp, but you can use Beserk & attack sephiroth continuously, i'd try continuing that chain using Healing & Beserk.

I beat the game without killing him I was a high level too. I have heard of people killing him but with them being the highest level you can be...not sure what level that is but I think it was 99.

I'm not very sure at what level i was when I've beaten him but if I'm not wrong, i was at level 73 when I've finally get to beat him. But at that level, I've already got the brave, wisdom, valor and final form at its highest level. It's going to be tough to beat him but i guess that by battling him again and again and again will make you get used to his moves, thus giving you an idea of when and how to strike him and how to dodge his moves. So don't feel frustrated when you can't beat him. Just try again and be very patient.

I was level 85. You should have glide, quick dash, berserk charge, and the once more and second chance abilities. All his attacks have voice cues, so try and remember them. Mash triangle at the beginning. after that, I can't help, except for saying, get tons of elixirs. If he tries Sin Harvest, get him quick.

i was on level 50-60 when i defeated him, but the way to defeat him is to put on as many combo plus' as you can, dodge his attacks and do NOT use berserker, it will not kill him, you need a finl bls to defeat him, equip some elixers and anything that will help you heal, it will take forever but eventually you will learn his attack pattern, and kill him, oh and when he stop and glows, a big triangle will appear, press triangle and you will block his berserker attack

you have to be lvl 85 to beat him for some reason if your around 85 he is easy. you also have to use trinity limit to beat him after he has like an inch of his life.

i dont remember what level i was but it was all stagey he does the same thing over and over you just have to find the way to counter him
