I am in Yorkshire too, but cold? It is the mildest winter I can ever remember ( up to now! ) hence the lack of snow. OK we had one or two sharp frosts at the end of December but when you get temps of 9, 10 and 11 degrees above zero in January like we have been getting in our part of the world it seems crazy. I can well recall (not too many years ago either) it been -8 -9 or -10 at night with many a morning spent thawing out frozen pipes .

I used to live in Yorkshire a few years ago but the weather was consistent then, all over the world everyone is having freakish weather now so you just can't predict the weather anymore.

Cold?? This is the mildest winter we've had in years. This is great. No horrible snow to walk through. No need to wear hats and scarves. Plus, I work outside, and this weather makes it so much easier.
May all our future winters be like this.

this is relatively unhappy. That actual breaks my heart. I used to stay in ny so i understand precisely what you're speaking approximately. maximum of them relatively have no the place to bypass. And shelters are starting to be relatively finished these days simply by economic gadget. a super form of folk have become homeless interior the final couple of years. I stay in Florida now, and this is less warm down right here than ever. the different evening it went all the way down to 23 tiers Fahrenheit and that i'd desire to easily think of roughly how lots of the individuals who stay in Florida have not got the right jackets for this climate, so now think of the homeless. It relatively relatively breaks my heart to work out the homeless. exceedingly in the event that they are elderly or in the event that they have infants. I attempt as much as i will to help them.

Snow relies on height above sea level amongst other factors.

Up on the dales you will probably see snow, down in Leeds it will be just rain.

I reckon that it will set fair in April, which is why I am off to Australia for 3 months next week!
