Like all people in the world - good and bad. I met only good ones, very clever, brought up and kind. I lived 2 years among them in Uzbekistan and was happy in those times. We trusted and appreciated each other.

What is there not to like about Muslims? They are people just like you and me. Islam is a beautiful religion and it deserves to be respected like any other. There are good and bad people everywhere.
My cousin is a convert to Islam, he's still the same person he's always been. I have several Muslim friends and they just as cool and fun to be around as my non-Muslim friends.
I think that if you are asking this question, then perhaps you should make it a point to find a Muslim and befriend.
Peace.

I like most Muslim people I have met. Of course I have not met those who want world domination for their backwards brand of the faith. In the event I DO meet them, I hope I am well-armed.
Most of the Muslim folks I have met personally are peaceful and decent folks. We have a lot in common, we want good things for our kids, we want to live in peace, we like home improvement. (I am serious, a lot of our muslim neighbors are really into fixing up their houses. Makes it fun when we meet them at neighborhood association meetings, school functions, etc.).
The problem I have is the violence that is encoded in the Quran. If you take it literally, you are to either kill non-believers or make them into chattel, any horrible thing you do is justified as long as it is done for the faith, etc.
Fortunately most of the Muslim people over here (USA) do not subscribe to that and seem to be adherents of the branch of Islam which is very rational and sane. THis is the branch which was predominant in Alexandria long ago and resulted in a burst of learning, science and knowledge which was ahead of anything anywhere else at that time. This is where arabic numerals came from, where algebra was discovered, where one of the world's greates libraries was established.
THis is kind of disjointed, but this is what I think.

Personally I feel that each and every person should be treated with respect and dignity no matter where they are from or what they believe. Each and every person is an individual and should not be subjected to a stereotype. I guess what I am really trying to say is that it is possible not all muslims are bad people. And not all of them should be blamed for the misdeeds of a few that have caused problems. Not all muslims are terrorists and should not be considered to be so just because of their beliefs. You wouldn't want some to pre-judge you. Treat others as you would want them to treat you.

The same as about any other religious people.
In fact, every religion has a period when their beliefs are enforced on the tip of sword. Think of the crusades or the wars of the Israelites against the Philistines.
When the pope called for a crusade Cristian faith was about 1000 years old (approximate). Now the trick: When did the Prophet Mohamed live?
a) yesterday
b) before the dawn of time
c) approximately 1000 years ago?
Think, press, talk!

i am a white christian (not really religious though), i live in england.. and i have absolutely no problem at all with muslims :) i think its unfair that some ruin it for others in some cases..

i do however hate it when people do not speak english when they live in an english speaking country as it is totally disrespetful to the native people x

they are people just like everyone else. their blood is red, they suffer with colds and back pains, they laugh/cry, they must go to the bathroom at least once a day. because they beleive something different doesnt mean that they too wont be called to judgement when the day comes and have to answer for their deeds rather they are good or bad.
