my preference is a curvy lady. not into bones sticking out at all, it doesnt look healthy and its not nice to cuddle up to. a nice curvy lady wins hands down.

I think most men prefer curvy women. Not morbidly obese, mind you but women with some shape to them.

I think because the entertainment industry shows us that skinny is beautiful some men may feel like they have to have a skinny woman to be "trendy". Or it's possible some men just like that.

Here is the geeky answer:

Men generally prefer curvy girls because a woman with hips and a good size bust has the right shape for childbearing. It comes from a primitive evolution point of view that men want to 'mate' with women who will be good breeders.

Interestingly what women find attractive depends on what point in their menstrual cycle they are at. When the woman is most fertile she is more likely to be attractive to more 'manly' looking men with strong jawlines, muscular build, tall etc, like Brad Pitt for example. When at her least fertile she is more likely to be attracted to more 'girly' looking men like Leo Di Caprio for example.

Attraction is all about the caveman instincts. I don't know a single bloke that would want one of these size 0 skinny girls!

As long as curvy isn't an excuse for obese then I thikn men prefer curvy girls, at least I know I do. They are better looking, fill clothes out better and are generally more fun.

Having suffered the horrors of my daughter battling Anorexia Nervosa, and now, although a lot better, bordering on Bulemia, I would have to say curvy, as one answer says, it's what defines a woman, please girls don't be fooled into thinking being skinny is an alternative life style, be yourself, eat a well balanced diet and exercise, live with your shape.

Attitude and personality are what attract, hands down! A woman's body will go through many changes over their life and there's no reason to get fixated on any one version of it because, no matter what, it won't last. Attitude on the other hand, is what really defines a woman and makes her attractive and desirable.

I have known skinny women who were knock-down sexy and attractive and I have known curvy women who were sexy and attractive but, in either case, it wasn't the shape of their bods that made them that way. It was the way they carried themselves. I think being attractive and sexy are just a way of acting and not so much a way of how you look.
