after currently being in school to be a travel agent i realized that i want to be a graphic designer- or so i think. i love to do projects for school where we have to design or display things on a presentation board or design adds or make cards for my family, and im particulary interested in the bridal market. is there any job that any of you can think of that would some how combine graphic designing and weddings? and also do you know of any good schools to go to for this? i really would appreciate some help on this.

well the best thing to do is talk to your adviser, he or she will sure know more about it or can help you with it... but the only thing i can think of is event planner like wedding planner or something like that might work. good luck!

SVA and FIT both in NYC specialize in advertising...not too many schools will focus on a specific industry in terms of dealing with graphic or web design...they will train you in the skills and software you will need to use, you must find your own spot in the industry you want to work in, it is possible that they could provide you with leads to an internship...FIT deals more with fashion design, and I know they have a bridal dress design course...but it is more for people who want to design clothes for a living...
