Palestine was their ancestral home. Most of the Arabs in that area were poor and many were tenant farmers who didn't own the land they had. The land was sold out from under them. By the way, Israel is the wealthiest non-oil country in the Middle East with the highest standard of living. Those Arabs who stayed and worked within the system are pretty well off. The problem is the uneducated Arabs who got pushed off the land are easily convinced this is a religious war instead of an economic one.

Jews were escaping persecution especially after world war II and went to the holy land, Israel, they wanted a Jewish land where they would not feel persecuted and the UN gave them Israel

As far as I know it was more compensation for the way they were treated in the War. Also because they had no home country and Israel was promised to them by god.

Because no one else wanted them near them.
America & Brittian by force settled them there.

This is where numerous refugees from the european Holocaust chose to settle. And they chose to settle there because according to their history and religion, this is their ancestral land.
