I have DVR and don't know how I lived without it!@~

By definition a TiVO box is a DVR. It just has the feature of predicting which shows you may like based on your recording habits and your ratings of shows. I already know which shows I want to watch so the TiVO interface was unnecessary and cumbersome. Additionally, the HD TiVO box is way to expensive right now. So use the HD DVR I get from my cable provider.
In short, DVR for my hd tv and Media center on my PC to burn shows to DVD.

so much to watch and not enough time
more than 100 hours of recording time

DVR is the best although now I can never leave my home again....too much to watch so little space

TIVO and I love it...... my b/f just got a new apt and they do not offer either yet for digital cable and I am about to go CRAZY b/c of the shows I have to miss b/c I can not record them!
