Don't worry, the baby is more accurate. He/she will come out right when they are due, not a moment sooner!

The ultrasound is only accurate for finding out a due date before your 14th week. After that it can be off by up to a week or more. I am 11 weeks and was at the doctor yesterday for the first time. They scheduled an ultrasound for next week because I am measuring large for my current due date. They said I had to have the ultrasound before the 14th week to accurately date the pregnancy.

The scan is usually about 2 weeks off. You are the only one who can determine when you are going to have the baby. You have to remember exactly when you missed your period. Then you go about 2 weeks before that and count the days down to 9 months. I am in child development, and it says your doctor goes by what you tell them. So they are never accurate it is a guessing game, kinda funny when you think about uh. You are the only one who can come close though. Try it. See who comes closer you or your doctor.

There as accurate as they can be but, the baby can come at any time in a pregnancy due to many reasons. The ultasound measures the baby's head which helps determine what stage of development the baby is and when he should be due.

they are an estimate. and are fairly accurate. mine was both times even though i delivered early. there is no guarantee your baby will come on that day its just an educated guessand an approximate date. many come before and after the date but hardly ever one some do though good luck and congrats

the ultrasound measures the baby's size which will tell the doctor how big the baby is and how many weeks along you are. It is the most accurate way to tell how big your baby is and when you will be due.
