My son is invited to his preschool classmate's b-day party. She's turning 5 and I have NO idea what to buy her. I asked her mom what she likes, but didn't get a straight answer. Any ideas??

You can't go wrong with a Bratz doll. It's like Barbie but they've kind of replaced the whole Barbie craze. My daughters are 8 and 7 and both have been into Bratz for the last 3 years. Every birthday party it's the highlight to give or recieve one. Good luck.

Kids love almost anything. Either a toy or book. It's really going to depend on the child.
When I shop for the kids in my family I do a 2 part gift.
I get an outfit or some clothes this helps the parents and then I get some kind of toy or doll, or a learning game.
It makes both the child and parents happy.
Good Luck

I just had to but a gift for a 6 year old girl today! I find they like Barbie and craft kits. As a mother of 3 boys I always have to ask too. Marshalls and TJ Maxx have some great deals right now on Barbie stuff. Have fun in the pink isle!

When in doubt get some educational toy that are cute. .like something from Dora the Explorer or just books in general ask the book store clerk for good books for a 5-6 year old primary reader.

How about personalized books? Kids really love to hear their own name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles to choose from like Sesame Street, Ballerina Princess, Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo and so many more. They are very reasonably priced, and make a wonderful & unique gift. Check it out and good luck!

Quality children's books. Those associated with the Caldecott Medal (The Hello Goodbye Window, Kitten's Full Moon etc.) are good choices.

The Cranium Games are great, they are a lot of fun and they challenge young minds.
DO NOT buy a Brat doll, most parents will not want their child to have a doll that dresses like a hooker.

My daughter's pals, even the boys, like craft stuff. you may get a respectable determination of markers, paper, stickers etc for a useful value from greenback shops. Wrap the products for my section to grant them extra can provide to open and place all of them in a cutting-edge bag. the different bonus with craft stuff is its a consumable. With toys you many times run the possibility of the youngster already having it.

Little girls love to be beautiful, and dress up stuff is surprisingly cheap. Make up is messy and she's probably not quite ready for that yet, but shoes, boas, play dresses, crowns, jewelry, hair clips and such have always been a huge winner with my daughter around that age.
