The Earth is approximately spherical in shape. Therefore no point on its surface can be regarded as "the centre". The only centre such an object has is in the core of the planet, deep underground where it is extremely hot and generally unpleasant and as a result there is no city there.
However, if you took the areas of all the land masses of the world and selected a point that had an equal area of land in every direction from it then the nearest city to that point would be Cairo, in Egypt. The US Air Force once produced a series of maps centred on Cairo as this showed the greatest area of land mass in a single projection.

The city is called Alsaschis. There is a theory that the center of the Earth is a boiling inferno. However anyone with an ounce of sense realizes that the center of the Earth houses a lost city that is only accessible through volcanic entry points located at tectonic plate joining points around the globe.
Alsaschis is a rich society peopled by a society that has never seen the sun. Mushrooms and small creatures that line the rock walls provide illumination. The people have grown very wise as they have no work, and subsist on artistic and intellectual pursuits.

Do you mean which city is loacted in the center of the world? or as in the earths crust? uhh well, if you mean the center of the world, I am not sure if there really is a city that is considered the centre of the world. However I am thinking maybe it could be Greenwich, England. Have you ever heard of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)? It is the standard time that is used worldwide and basically based around the time in Greenwhich. Greenwich has the time zone of GMT 0. And if you are in a place that has a time zone of GMT+3 then you would be 3 hours ahead of the time in Greenwhich. I am not positive about all this though, just an idea.

There is no center -- or the center can be anywhere because it's a sphere that's nearly symetrical. There is no boundry to measure by except outside & inside. It's like asking "what is the center of a rubber ball?"
Unless you're asking what's in the inner core, in which case there is no city. It's hot, solid iron.

Perhaps the Equator is the center of the Earth's surface. And the city of Quito (in Ecuador) is very close to the Equator.

Greenwich in London is the central point from which all the world's time is measured: GMT. London was the first super city w. a population in the millions and remained the biggest for by far the longest period of time.
