It depends on the type of job you have and the venue you work in.
I am a musician and I get paid at the end of each gig upon completion of the gig.
When I was a hairdresser I got paid every other Friday.
My sister is a cake decorator/baker and gets paid every week.
Some people like builders get paid a chunk for a deposit before the start of the project and then some in the middle for labor and materials and then the rest at the completion of the project. These projects can sometimes (depending on how big) take months and months...so you might only get one big paycheck every other month.
Realtors, when they sell a home.
Starting to see the big picture? It's all good as long as you are getting paid what you are worth (or more) and know how to make aa budget for your living expenses.

I like it weekly ..a pay packet with cash in it...or fortnightly
cash in packet ..worst method is monthly pay with a company cheque which will take extra 3 to 5 days to be cashed by the bank..a bank transfer is better than a cheque.. all ways go for cash and in the shortest time ie weekly ..better in your pocket then the companies...

Wanna make fast cash right now? Well first off you have to be 12 years or older. Second you sign up, fill out surveys, (for each survey you do u get paid more and more.) and u get a check in the mail every month. IT IS NOT A SCAM!!!!!!!! DOESN’T COST YOU A PENNY!!!!!!! For exp. Once you sign up go to cost to you in the box and click sort. Next click on any survey u want. Then you will fill out a two page survey. Page one will be ur e-mail, u must have ur correct e-mail u signed up with. And page two u will fill out ur home address…. But it doesn’t even have to be ur correct home address. I don’t put mine. Just make up one if ya want. But only on the surveys…but Not the sign up page. you must put your correct e-mail when you sign up… b/c that’s how you get your checks… But not on the surveys. And there ya go… a check will come in the mail every month as long as u keep filling out surveys. http://www.*************/index.php?ref= Good luck!

I get paid every two weeks. It's direct deposit too, so I don't even worry about it, just get a statement from the bank every month and make sure they paid me right.

Are you asking how often a person gets paid??
It all depends on where you work.
In my case....once a month :(.
Makes it HARD.
