taken for granted is someone doesn't apreciate you or realize all that you have done to help them, to take for grantide is you do that to someone else.

It means someone is using you. You dont want to be taken for granted. You dont want to be used for something you can do or are good at and get nothing for it.

That either you don't appreciate person or they don't appreciate you. Taking someone for granted basically means that you don't appreciate what the other person does for you, or the impact they have on your life. And vice versa.
