**WE ARE GOING TO THE DOCTOR, SO I AM NOT LOOKING FOR THAT SORT OF ADVICE, THANK YOU**

One of my 16 month old twins woke in the middle of the night with vomitting and diarrhea. This morning he is very lethargic and refuses to drink or eat. Though, I did get him to eat some applesauce. He now has a couple of red blotches on his face. No fever though.

We have been through strep throat multiple times this year (have five kids, so it's no wonder). So I am pretty sure it isn't strep. I am just curious b/c I have never had chickenpox and things of that sort. Just wondering what the heck he could have. Any ideas?

Thank you for any intelligent answers you might have.

Sometimes a fever simply shows itself in physical form as a rash. So that could just be a fever coming out. I'm not sure though. Try to keep them drinking juice, milk, anything at all so they don't get dehydrated & good luck at the doctors!
Chicken pox would be all over them, not just on the face.

Are the red blotches on his cheeks? My daughter got a bout of the flu last week throwing up, diarrhea and no fever, but was very clammy feeling. She developed bright red cheeks which I thought was fifth disease(slapped cheek syndrome), but the doctor said she just had a virus and sometimes babies get rashes with viruses. It does sound like strep tho if he does not want to eat, but no fever? Poor guy. Chickenpox usually is red bumps like pimples that grow bigger with fever. Have the blotches moved anywhere else? Any blisters in his mouth or hands or feet? One of my daughters got the hand, foot and mouth disease (kinda like chickenpox) and would not eat because she had blisters in her mouth! Good luck. Hope the little guy feels better.

Does your child go to daycare? I think the vomitting and diarrhea is just a stomach bug, esp. if he is not eating or drinking. I would not force it. Just offer water or maybe some crackers. The red blotches on the face could just be from him being hot. I wouldn't rush to the E.R., give hime some time to rest and keep him calm, don't force food, let him have want he wants he will be fine. If he starts to show other symptoms I would go to the doc.

I quite do not like a piercing except it is at the ears. A nostril ring is exceptional, however provided that it is on your faith or anything. I individually do not like: - "Down there" piercings - Nipple (I noticed a fats man with a type of and it nonetheless scares me six years later 0_0) - Tongue - Gum BQ1: I'd get crimson, however provided that I used to be compelled to. BQ2: My most sensible 5 (no longer counting Pixar and in no order) a million. Aladdin two. The Little Mermaid three. Mulan four. Dumbo five. Cinderella

I don't know what is wrong with him. I just wanted to tell you that children under 2 can not get strep. They are still protected by the antibodies they get from mom. So.. at least you know your right there. Good luck. I hope he feels better soon.

Without a fever- he is probably allergic to something. Did you recently change the soap detergent to wash his bed sheets or clothes? Or if he recently ate anything different, that would cause the reaction without a fever.
