A murderer, sitting in the electric chair, was about to be executed.

"Have you any last requests? asked the chaplain.

"Yes," replied the murderer. "Will you hold my hand?"

The best I've heard of is a request for pen and paper. The person to be executed wrote a full apology for his crimes as well as a letter to all of his family and friends telling them that he loved them and that they should not worry and be strong, etc. It was rather thoughtful of him.

That kind of sucks. Do you need to give Christ a 2 weeks notice for redemption of sin?

How about asking Jesus to forgive your sins. After all you won't be here much longer.

It says in the bible if you live your life in sin and ask for forgiveness in the last seconds it won't help you.
