Like, I have my wizz and soap wash and dry my hands, and he still washin his hands the whole time. So is this a religious symbol or what? Best ansa will b chosen as always...

Obsessive compulsive disorder, that's the only logical explanation for his behavior.
OCD is where a person feels they 'must' go through a ritual/ routine or something bad will happen to them; so if this guy feels he has to wash his hands for 10 minutes he probably feels he has to do this or germs will kill him etc. It's a paranoia, an anxiety. It's nothing to do with religion.

Your wizz! That's cute and funny. LOL. Anyhow-some people have OCD- Obsessive Compulsive disorder and cannot help doing certain things either obsessively, repeatedly, or both. Other examples are counting steps as you walk(mild), or having to turn a light switch off and on a certain # of times before you leave or enter a room. My brother has a mild form of this disorder, and he brushes his teeth-each section-for a certain period of time. He also does the handwashing to excess thing. But he really is a very normal person otherwise. He actually has a 182 IQ and is a member of Mensa. I suppose there are worse things a person could be obsessed about than cleanliness you know? I hope I answered your question

This sounds like OCD, Obsessive compulsive disorder. It is a mental illness that affects more people than you would beleive. It also shows in other ways such as always having things in certain order. Some people dont even leave homw without checking light switches cookers are turned off etc for hours on end. Be understanding about it and dont draw attention to them as they are possibly feeling stressed already just by knowing people might be watching. Help is available for this condition from web sites and dr.

Nothing is nastier than a public toilet and some people just want to make sure they're hands are scrubbed clean.

Wouldn't you feel better knowing this guy was the one in the kitchen or serving food in a restaurant...or the guy that just rinses his hands (or doesn't wash them at all!!)??

Some people might say OCD, but I don't think there's anything obsessive about wanting to make sure your hands are super clean.

It would appear to be Compulsive Obsessive Disorder and it is a problem that needs help. Sometimes schizophrenics can have this problem too. It is not a religous symbol just someone who needs help

Those people suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). They think that germs are going to infiltrate their body and cause serious damage, even if they have cleaned themselves thoroughly. Thing is....you actually need some bacteriae to help you survive, so they're actually hurting themselves by "purification."

Be glad they wash there hands. Some people go and don't bother to wash at all. Just think you could be shaking hands
with somebody that god knows where his hands have been.
Hopefully all people that prepare food, wash thgeir hands this
thoroughly.
