Sure. It would make you feel groggy and passive in general. It could prove difficult to make up for the time 'wasted' in vain. A quick envigorating (=not too hot) shower could help to get you back on track. If you like coffee, a healthy dose of caffeine would not do any harm. Try to schedule some sports later on to feel better about yourself. And... Have a good day!

Yes - it can be a sign of depression. Also, it's interesting how if you sleep too much, it seems to have the effect of making you feel more tired, instead of the "rested up" feeling a person is looking for. Once you start the cycle of sleeping a lot, always feeling tired, it's hard to break. If you are getting 8-9 hours of sleep a night and still feel tired, try dragging yourself out of be and getting motivated (exercising, shower, whatever) and see if that gives you more energy. If you find after a week or so that you still have no energy, go see a doctor. It could be depression, or even a vitamin/mineral deficiency. Good luck!
