Sorry to my fellow Big Ten fans, but the conference sucked this year. Part of what made Ohio State and Michigan look unjustifably good was the fact that the bottom eight (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, and Purdue) were horrible. Until the bowl games, none of the bottom nine in the Big Ten had a win over a ranked opponent. NONE of them.

It was simply a down year in the conference, which overinflated opinions of Ohio State and Michigan, which were quickly deflated by USC and Florida.

Man, outside of Wisconsin and Penn State. The Big Ten sucked in bowl games this year. They're still a talented conference. They will rebound next year.

they are not weak, just weaker than the SEC

OS and Mich were over hyped by the portion of the media that doesn't cover SEC (especially ABC-ESPN), that's all
