my friend recently had an abortion about 2 months ago and before u give me ur crap about abortions being bad she had a cist on her overy and was forced to have the abortion. My question is the last few weeks she has been feeling ill again unable to and when she does eat she feel sick, she took a test a couple of days ago and it said that she was pregnant again but we're unsure if its correct or not because she still has the cist and her abortion was not that long ago could this be the reason for a pregency test to pick up the pregnancy hormone or could she actully be pregnant again? She's very scared and I'm still trying to get her to grab another test and to head to the doctors for some bloods to be done. I just want to ask what other people think??

appreantly the cist was caused by the pregnancy and she was extreamtly sick because she was sick from the cist and the pregnancy so they told her the best she thing she should do at the time for her own sake was to abort it, she didn't use abortion as birth control she regreats doing it and didn't want to do it in the first place she cried for days before it happend and is crying still now because of it she really wanted that baby and was devisatied to be told she shouldnt do it

yes definitely she should go and get another test and check again. And either way she should get in to her Doctors office and get checked out. Because if she is not pregnant it could be other problems from her last procedure. It should be long enough to tell for the test I had a cist on my ovary after I had my daughter and it was the size of a softball and i never knew until she was delivered and now I have to get checked every 6 months to make sure that it does not return. So she should definitely go to the doctor.

It could just be the cyst on her ovary. She needs to see her doctor and get the cyst removed. After that she needs to get on some birth control so that she does not need any further abortions. Oh yes if she had unprotected sex she could indeed be pregnant again. She does not need an abortion because of a cyst on her ovary she could do a complete pregnancy with that cyst causing no problems at all.

Ok I would say tell her to get checked out and pray for the best. I have only one functioning ovary and it has a large cist on it. I had no clue until I was pregnant. Thankfuly I had my son four years ago. Ive been dealing with the cist ever since meds and monitoring. Everything is ok. You really should tell her to find a fertility specialist obgyn who may know more.

You guys need to go to the Dr, again. My wife use to test pregnant all the time with her cyst by the way goes away and always comes back(something to look foward to). but the pregnacy test are always false with her cyst and recent births. So if you have insurance I'll say go see the doctor.

I think you're right to try to get her to the doctor, sounds like it might be serious. She is also right to be scared but it's better to at least know what you're dealing with. You're a good friend, and no, I won't give you a hard time about abortion. Best wishes to both of you.

I don't really have a good answer besides that she should really go to the doctor. I did want to say, I'm sick of people being so judgemental when answering questions. If her (your) friend got a abortion because she had to or wanted to that's her business. Don't demonize her. Don't answer the question if you don't like what it says!

She should see a doctor right away. It could be that she is having problems due to her cyst or her recent abortion.
