I used olive oil on my newborn, perfectly safe, however i only used it for a bit of dry skin, i didn't use it for her hair. I'm sure it wold be fine though, just don't get it in the eyes.

I used it to get rid of cradle cap on my son when he was younger than three months. Olive oil is so natural, and doesn't stink like the commercial products out there. It won't do any harm at all...

yes it is olive oil is an amazing tool to use especially on babies...it works wonders just be careful not to get it anywhere on the baby that might harm her eyes,mouth etc.

Why would you need to? For cradle cap, baby oil is better. Other than that, there really is no need for it.
