I certainly have washed my telephone interior the tumble washer and it survived. the telephone replaced into off simply by fact the battery replaced into very nearly ineffective. i did not turn it on I took it aside thoroughly and used compressed air on it positioned it above a seventy 5 watt bulb for an afternoon and fired it up. the priority to appreciate is you may lay it out open for 2 days as you mentioned whether it additionally desires warmth to get the moisture trapped between the sandwiched multi layer circuit boards cellular telephones have. Compressed are is relatively key to all this. So get it blown off and prepare dinner it for an afternoon or so now. additionally the battery can get water interior it and that to ought to be dried properly.

Have a go at drying it out (take it apart and sit it in an airing cupboard or similar for about a week) and then put it back together. It might work it might not, it depends whether the water caused any circuits to blow.

If it doesn't work, then it's new phone time!

My advice, buy a new phone cause that one is now expensive garbage. If you purchased insurance with the phone, you may be able to have it replaced for free, but other than that your phone is now useless. Electronics and water don't mix too well. Sorry for the bad news.

Do what everyone else has suggested, don't forget to take the battery out. Don't think it will come back to life though; washing powder is corrosive, so the copper tracks on the PCB will be corroded rendering it useless.

Take it apart and let it dry overnight. My roommate did something similar to hers and after it dried, it began working again. The only problem she has is a tiny blue dot of light which is always lit.

Yeah! Take the battery out of the back or where ever it's located and replace it and if it don't work take it to the phone store where you got it from!

It may work again when dried out but I doubt it. Try going to your service provider & acting dumb as if you haven't a clue wots up. Or buy a new phone.

If you have a boiler room stick it in there, if not wrap it in kitchen roll and leave it on the radiator.
Done this to my nokia twice, works like a charm.
