Not at all. I answer questions to the best of my ability no matter how I feel.

Personally, I think that there are several reasons that people choose the questions they do on Yahoo Answers:
1. They choose questions that their life experiences allow them to answer comfortably and with confidence -- these are those who specialize in some occupation, have experienced that event, etc
2. They get irritated by the question. Prejudice, Hate-mongering, having close relatives killed/maimed/injured, having been victimized, etc ... that all will lead to a response that FIRST HAND knowledge of the effects of these prejudicial postings have on society as a whole or individuals is very valuable and needs to be posted.
3. SPAMmers/SCAMmers: These questions are easily identified ... they are repetitious .. they rotate through a short list of re-useable screen names, they are just copied/pasted from a word processing document. NO matter how many times one reports this mess, it will show up again sooner or later. Most of the time it will be posted "REPORTED" in a vast majority of answers ... yet the "Hint" is never taken by the person continuing the cut/paste of this junk.
4. Those answerers just choosing to irritate or make rude remarks ... These sometimes show up, but for myself, I continue to believe that these individuals are in many societies and across all spectrums of the socio-economic strata ... so no matter what .. this minority of responders will continue to be rude, nasty, arrogant or otherwise cruel. Nothing more than what you will meet on the street in daily life (or stores, businesses, whatever).
