thats the way they operate. everyone pays EXCEPT THEM! they rant about the rich, but they have more money than most. look how they rail at the republicans and their wealth. well, i'd like to see nancy pelosi's bank account from her beautiful vinyards (no doubt with illegals doing the picking) or ted kennedy's for that matter, seeing as how their dad was a bootlegger during prohibition and became rich illegally.
ya, you give your money, they keep theirs.

I walk to work. I only use the car when I am travelling over 5 miles or the temp is under 35 degrees f. Hold on I am not a liberal. But my engery saving attempts are not because of global warming it is because all of the taxes on gas which make gas to expensive to waste.
With the dem's in control those taxes and the price of gas will go up.
Also did you notice that it is the lib's that are raising all of the taxes on cigarettes and restricting where people can smoke cigarettes. But do nothing baout alcohol and DWIs

If you're talking about liberal politicians then I would suggest it is because those that are mainstream are usually just the other side of the coin to the conservatives and do not actually have or intend to impliment ideas to help with climate change. This is due to the fact that modern western democracies are more or less facades hiding a corporate dictatorship who in reality have the say on such policies. As they would lose substantial profits in taking the measures to reduce climate change it is not in their interest and they therefore will not wish to follow through with measures that could start to alliviate the problem.
If you are talkng about liberals as a category of people - a very broad and hard to define category I might add - then i would suggest that in general parking their cars or indeed doing any action that could reduce the causes of climate change would mean that they could not function within a western society and not beable to feed themselves.

I have it on excellent authority of the President of the United States that we have no Global warming, its all a plot by Al Gore to get his name in the papers. And furthermore its for sure that if it should come, it will only happen to Neocons so why should we give up our 15 year old Escort that gets 32 mpg city for a new made in mexico car? BTW we did get rid of one car, and I'm not even a Liberal.

EVERYBODY needs to do their part. Especially industry! A handful of Liberals abandoning their cars will inconvenience them in the extreme, and contribute nothing toward making things better.
As for me, I drive a car that gets excellent gas mileage. I save up my errands and use it once a week. And I don't waste time driving around looking for a "good" parking place-- I get a bad one, and walk. The exercise does me good.

I have been saying this for YEARS.Lead by example, libs.
I don,t think the libs understood the question. It is not the conservatives whining about global warming,it is the left.So the left should park their cars and not heat their house.

Or how about the liberal celebrities who waste millions of gallons of jet fuel on their private planes? I read something that may or may not be true, but one cross-country flight in a private jet uses more fuel and creates more pollution than is saved each year by all the people who drive hybrids in the US.
Pretty alarming eh?

Liberals could not only stop driving, they could stop breathing. A dead person has a very small carbon footprint. If only they cared the Libs would commit mass suicide & make the world a better palce.

I think every one of us needs to do our part in helping to hold off global warming regarless of their belief system.
I don't understand why the people on this planet seem to not care about where their grandkids will be and what conditions they will have to face.

When it comes to politics...it's not just the liberal or conservative, or Democrat or Republican thing...the politicians just talk the talk, they rarely if ever walk the walk.
