The existence of ghosts has been accepted without question in almost all cultures throughout history. we reject what we do not understand, rather than face the possibility that there are indeed more things in heaven and earth than are dreamed of, let alone taken seriously, by the scientific establishment.
Ghosts are even rejected by people who have seen them. I saw it, but I still don’t believe it! Is a commonly reported reaction, for the human mind instinctively rejects information it cannot assimilate and interpret, better evidence, and more of it, is needed before the ghost can find its way into the physics and biology textbooks. when a ghost is seen by only one person, the suspicion arises of hallucination, error or deception-whether practised by the percipient or someone else. but ghost are often seen by more than one person at the same, though not necessarily by everybody present. this is often sufficient to rule out the possibly of deception or mistake, but the true nature of the apparition remains unknown. the images of persons and things are preserved in the Astral light. there in also can be evoked the forms of those who are in our world no longer, and by this means are accomplished those mysteries of necromancy which are so contested and at the same time so real. the cabalists who have discoursed concerning the world of spirits have described simply what they have seen in their evocations.
The spirit may be fire, or breath, or ghost, animating the machine of the body, or a purified from of that body. It may be an illusion, or the product of illusion, or the only true reality. The most common representation of the spirit is as light and by extension, fire. A perpetual fire is a recurrent symbol of immortality, and ecstatic dancers, shamans and wonder workers of ten demonstrate their control over spirits by manipulating fire.
Once you have walked in spirit through a few of the old doors to the other world, you may begin to perceive ever more clearly where the two worlds overlap and interlock. It is for this reason that you cannot call up, command or banish any of the old ones you meet. they are always there and it is your own sight and ability to interact with them that you may command, like muscles, the inner eyes of other worldly journeying need to be trained slowly, gently and carefully, to give the most rewarding results. Its one thing to believe that spirit exists; it’s another to try to find out how it works.the spirit’s not just any spirit can be involved in a particular possession. the key to the special spirit entrance is the ritual preparation and a specific cue. the only way a spirit, can take possession of a human’s body is if that body first uncle goes certain specific changes, an alteration of consciousness termed religious trance or ecstasy. every medium has his or her own, spirits yet must continually be on guard so as not to accede too much to its wishes, for other wise the spirit may take over to the exclusion of everything else. at though often represented as demons in the Christian sense, they actually combine the qualities both of the demonic in the sense of evil and of the spirits of the evil dead. A friendly spirit can be of great help, but if it is angered, tangling with it can lead to disaster. Spirits desire light, so will appreciate a candle as a sacrificial offering, for instance, but if humans refuse to help them, they may cause suffering.

Are you being visited by a spirit? If so, what happens when it comes?
Typically if it is a loved one there is a very calm feeling associated with the visitor.

I don't believe for one moment that the spirits of our loved and even our hated ones visit this earth. It is our perceptions of guilt and loss that give us the feelings of spirits. Now, the love of your mother dwells in your heart, and that should be what your focus is. Not on the folly of her spirit being still here.

I think it's all based on personal perception. Some people believe this and some don't. There is no "true" to it. It's an opinion.

Well, when your loved ones die you can sometimes see their ghost, but it's only in your imagination. I don't think it's really actually true.
