My mother, she was a single, teenage mother but finished college, got a great job and provided me and my brothers with a very fulfilling and priviledged life all while being a wonderful mother.

my husband, he came to this country when he was 19, did not know English, etc. he is an awesome father and husband. He is now a proud US citizen, learned English on his own, and is the number 1 guy at his job. He has always provided for us and has always been there for me. I have a pretty crappy family, and without him I would be lost. He means everything to me, it may sound foolish, but he is my hero...

My father when he was alive....because he always kept his word and was not the type of person to say "do as I say and not as I do" He would "Practice" what he "preached". Currently, my Mom. She keeps going on inspite of being a widow and still manages to be there for her children (mainly for my older brother) but she was with me when I needed her most (my son's birth).

Obvious answer - my mum. She brought me up single-handedly while being continously ill, and has now managed to hold down a steady job even though she's in debt and the like. She inspirational and I love her!

Me. I never had anyone to look up to when I was growing up so I depended on myself to get where I am today and its up to me to get where I want to be. Its been a long journey and I hope I'm less then half way to the end.
