If he competed against himself?

I ask this because despite whatever the President does now, past Events have negated any future good..... right?

Nope, all he has to do is win the war, bring troops home and his approval rating will skyrocket. If there is on thing about America, history shows that we are either very forgetful or most forgiving when it comes to perceived failures of our politicians.

Why no one is preparing charges against him really makes me wonder about how much America is willing to accept all the stories needed to get people motivated into acting on any number of problems .
I heard the phrase sold the war to the American people so often that it almost went in one ear and out the other without any consideration .
Or he has to sell this war to congress . The press is trying to tell us something and we are just to blind to see it .
Sell me a war sell me on the patriot act .
This is the way the press calls a president a lier and a cheat in front of everyone without actually saying it .
Now the just say he lied to congress he lied to the people and we hear little about the press calling what he did criminal unless you listen close .
Was it wrong for Bush to Sell the war to congress ? Would we have gone to war had we known the president was lying ?
They want the American people to do what they can not . Push for bush to be impeached . The media is controlled and fearful of what may happen to America . They two have been duped by politicians and forgotten to pay attention over the last 45 years after Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex .
So IF we have any body who is paying attention the answer is NO NO NO NO NO .. Bush is a criminal responsible for the deaths of over 100,000 people .

George Bush is a good man who tried to do what he thought was necessary to protect America from a threat that we were ALL extremely concerned about on the morning of 9/11/01.

George Bush is also in the 6th year of a presidency that the opposition party will do anything to undermine. If you think the political rhetoric was evil and contentious last Fall, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

Nobody on the Democratic side is going to allow GWB to appear to be right about ANYTHING in the next 2 years. One Democrat tried agreeing with Bush last year and he was attacked by his own party.

His name was Joe Lieberman, and he's now an Independent. It's a refreshing perspective that the average American voter would do well to try...independent thinking for oneself.

Not sure. I think that he does realize the heavy burden of history that would rest on his shoulders.

I think you'll see that tonight. That's pretty much what he'll be doing with his address about Iraq.
