right here in Puerto Rico there's no opposition with the Mexicans, we are residing mutually very properly. The truth is that Puerto Ricans have been bad mouthing Mexicans for a long time and now in boxing and saying we are inferior and that we give Hispanics a bad name and all this other crap.

Yet their artist always go to Hollywood and try to play Mexicans on the big screen yet they get mad when anyone calls them Mexican yet they always trying to get Mexican parts like JLO in Selena and March Anthony who played a Mexican Mogul in Man on Fire and Rosario Dawson who played Dolores Huerta in Cesar Chavez. They are very jealous of Mexicans who have more Resources are from North America and have man power and infrastructure set up in the Southwest of the United States Mexicans also have more political power due to our population so we are basically the true Latino Political machine. Half of Puerto Ricans can't even vote and many in the U.S don't even vote.

A lot of Puerto Ricans also have bad mouth our Mexican music like Mariachi, Banda, Norteno music for a long time saying it sounds like circus music and that their Urban Neggratton is better than our music. Anyway their is a long list.

At the end of the day their really can't compete with Mexicans and the smart ones know these but don't correct the dumb ones who think Puerto Rico is better than Mexico. Jajajajaja

Also they also hate that Mexicans are the ones mostly shown in the media and that Mexican control a lot of Media. Many Puerto Rcians have decided if you can't beat them join them or incorporate Mexicans into programming some how.

I just want to tell Mexicans Thank God you are Mexican or Mexican American and get ready because now that Mexico is becoming more powerful their will be a lot more haters especially from the Caribbean.

I never heard of that one. I heard about cubans giving puerto ricans a hard time on account some cubans are arrogant and think they deserve it all....(My ex-husband was a cuban-puerto rican....so I speak from that experience only) and never again!

The only rivalry that I've heard of (at least in my home town anyway) is that Mexicans expected Puerto Ricans to support them in their "Pro-Amnesty" issues just because we speak the same language. And when we (Puerto Ricans) didn't support them they were angry at us, and called us snobs who were brain washed by the White man.

Here in Mexico we don´t hate them.
I think nobody cares specially about them.
In newspapers you don´t read about them or their country very often. People don´t talk about them often.
I met a guy from Puerto Rico once, he was scared of our food because we cook with chile and they don´t.
He and his friends were good dancers.
I think they liked Mexico, they had a lot of fun and we had a lot of fun too. And they liked chile when they left the country
There are a few singers from Puerto Rico that mexican people really like, for instance Chayanne and Ricky Martin.
I think most of the news and conversations in Mexico about Puerto Rico include them
