Yes it does violate your rights and gives you the right to appeal due to the 14th amendment. Discovery is very important and the prosecution is bound to give you ALL of their evidence in a timely fashion. Your lawyer CAN ask for a continuance in order to review new evidence that comes up during the proceeding. However, the judge doesn't have to grant it. I can't tell you how the judge will rule because I don't have the facts and I don't know who the judge is (or what his/her reputation is). You need to be fully cooperative with your attorney! Only an attorney can truly help you.

Blood? What the heck did you do? Did you do it? If you did, you have to worry if the evidence also shows you did it. If you didn't, the judge may be better than you suppose. Not sure what you were in court for the first time, possibly an arraignment? Don't think there is violation then.

What blood? What are you charged with? Your lawyer can ask for a continuance to go over the case...that is prolly your best bet.

yes your lawyer has to know all the evidence and be given time to come up with a defense stratigy unless you are pleading guilty which i think you should do if you are which it seems like you are
