there is very little truth behind most news stories either on tv or in the press. the facts do not always demonstrate the truth.there is a difference. the slant given to any news story is governed by several factors . 1 the writer of the story may emphasise a particular point in line with the social accepted norm or the thinking of the news managers ie his bossess.
2. the editor of the story may edit out points that they think we should not hear, governmental censorship rules notwithstanding in the UK we cannot see the point of death in any news item our law does not allow it.
the presenter of the news may not emphasise a particular point, especially at interviews for political or time constraint reasons.

So the news you see and hear is not in actual fact true the facts may be unaltered but the truth behind the headlines may not be what you see or hear. regards LF

I actually just did an essay on this last week, and I got an A! Compare and contrasting the ethics of CNN/Fox News, you will find that they both have a political bias that effects their news cast. i had one heck of an intro, and i can't believe i got an A. haha
