First you need to learn to spell, it would be real bad if you made a mistake on a client. Try the business advice bureau

Start out on the weekends at street fairs, festivals, birthday parties, etc. This will give you a chance to get your name and art out there while you still have a real job. Work every chance you get. Word of mouth is your best advertising, but a web page showing your work wouldn't hurt. Get a booth at the next festival in your town where you can do the tattoos and pass out business cards with your website and phone number on them. Even if you don't make money at the first few events, you are getting your name out there and you are getting practice in your art.

Good luck with it. I hope you enjoy your new business.

I could design you a website. You can easily buy a domain name. Or you could start with something like myspace, it's free and great for networking and getting your name around. You can upload pictures of your designs and create a slide show.

Advertise in shop windows, go to your local beauty salons, perhaps try to contact festival organisers as I reckon airbrush tattoos would go down a treat at events like that; so you could find out about renting a stall.

Also speak to a business advisor; I believe HSBC or similar establishments will be able to help, you will have to register your business and make sure you are doing your tax returns correctly.

You will also need to get insurance.

GOOD LUCK! ; )

word of mouth is always the best form of advertising. Also, why not advertise in local magazines. I presume these are only temporary tattoos? Then how about making leaflets to places of work. Stag do and hen night companies.....they could advertise for you. Ask at your local shopping centre and see if you could get a spot there and do them. People will love it if the price is right. Good luck. By the way where did you do the course, I've wanted to learn airbrushing for a while and this course sounds great.
