Here's what you need to do. The negative power of four means you need to take the fourth power of the reciprocal of whatever it is you are using, so here the equation would go from (3/4)^-4 to (4/3)^4. Once you do this, then it is fairly straightforward. 4^4 is 256 and 3^4 is 81. So, your answer will be 256/81

If it is a division to a negative power, invert the division (now becomes 4/3) and raise to a positive power of 4.
so (4/3)^4: (4*4*4*4)/(3*3*3*3)

x to the negative power of 4 just means that it is 1 divided by x to the power of 4

You have (3/4)^-4

same as

1

----

....4
(3)
(--)
(4)

3/4 ^ 4 = 0.3164

1 / 0.3164 = 3.16
