The pains you are feeling are totally normal. They are ligaments and muscles stretching and getting ready for your belly to expand. Around the end of the first trimester, your breast tenderness kinda eases off a little. That is caused by high levels of progesterone and once the placenta is working, then that kinda eases off too. Food cravings are also totally normal...as crazy as they often times are.
The good news is..that you have nothing to worry about. GOod luck and H&H 9months. If you're interested...www.ivillage.com has message boards for expecting moms. You can find the month you are due and join one. Whenever you have questions or want to chat with other moms expecting the same time as you..you'll have a place to go. I did that..and really enjoyed getting to know the other women. Congrats!

When I was pregnant I got all sorts of sharp pains, but no complications. I am not saying ignore it though, always tell your doctor EVERYTHING. Its is better safe than sorry, but just remember how many changes your body is going through. The breast tenderness can come and go, but just enjoy this time that it isn't as strong. As for food cravings, I only had them in the first 4 months, so I'm sure you are perfectly normal. Just try to remember that no pregnancy is the same and comparing yourself to others will just confuse and stress you out. Enjoy this time and relax, congrats by the way.

the pains could be round ligament pain. As your uterus grows and expands your muscles and ligaments expand as well cause pain especially if you get up after sitting down for a while or move your body in a different way it can cause that pain. In the beginning my breast were exremely tender but that has subsided now and all that is tender are my nipples. I had cravings right from the get go. Everybody's body is different and every pregnancy is different. If you are concerned then consult your doctor just for peace of mind. Good luck

Hello! And Congratulations!!
Those pains are totally normal! It's the round ligament stretching... and it will continue to happen!!! Though, I'm not noticing it so much right now....
My breasts didn't feel tender MOST of this pregnancy. Nipple pain came and went.
I've had food cravings from the very beginning too. Although, at 10 weeks, I think I was having more aversions, and craved sherbet!!! LOL

the pains are prolly the muscles and ligaments stretching to make room for your growing uterus and baby. my breasts stopped hurting when I was about 13 weeks. I have all kinds of cravings and had them from the beginning. Good luck with your little one!

food cravings start almost right away, it is due to an increase in hormones, and buildup of saliva in the mouth.
go to a doc about the pains, and the tenderness.
good luck.

Actually, pain is normal throughout. The pain you describe, I had the same kind. It is the uterus stretching. You seem to be normal.
